This is the best salon in Columbus! I've been a client for years, and Kat B. always knows what I'm looking for (what questions to ask, etc.), even though I'm not good at describing it. I've gone twice since the pandemic started and am really impressed with how safe they are. I like the products they use and sell (I buy Davines and VERB) because they are ethical companies, and are affordable while still making me feel fancy.

Wife goes here every 2-3 months though we live 3 hours away. She says that it is a great place for her cut and style. They can do it all and they are priced well for a high end salon. Definitely one of the best in Columbus, OH.

Second, John is an exceptional stylist not only providing a great cut but also providing a positive experience. He is kind, courteous, and a joy to have cut my hair. Third, everyone in the studio is nice! How often do you find that anywhere today. Check them out. My hairstyle is a reflection of my personal brand, I drive over an hour for Akada to help me brand me!

I am a long time client of the Akada Salon and stylist Tammy. The level of skill, talent and mastery of the stylists at Akada is second to none. I feel confident asking Tammy or any of the stylists to size me up and help me find the best look. I tell everyone that Tammy is a hair magician! She knows my limits and knows that once at home I want little to no effort fixing my hair before I go out the door in the morning. She gets me!

I like how committed Akada is to the community and dedicated they are to their clients.

If you are unsure of a direction to go with your style, they will guide you to the best look for you! I love the overall feel of Akada. After a visit I leave feeling renewed and refreshed.

Love this place. My hair has never looked so good. All the stylist are very professional. They start off with a consultation, ask what you like and what you don't like about your hair, and at the end, they explain how to style it properly. My appointments have always started on time which is usually a pet peeve of mine at other salons, where they are running behind.

Mackenzie Myers does my hair and she's wonderful and my hair always looks amazing! I'm so pleased with the results and the two colors she adds to my hair! Tammy at Akada performed an absolute miracle on my hair and I am forever grateful and thrilled. It was butchered nearly to complete annihilation by another salon...which I narrowly escaped from when they were pretending to "fix" it, and that is how I ended up seeking out Tammy. She did a color and cut that was out of this world and she is absolutely a true natural who knew intuitively exactly what to do. She explained everything to me, always responding to my incessant questioning, and she was super open and communicative as well. Some hair genius folk can be pushy or weird and Tammy was neither, just because she's a master of her trade. Tammy rules, so thank you to her and to the salon.
